DIVISION I
Goalie of the Year: Mikey Meagher, Florida Meagher posted top-10 marks in both save percentage and goals-against average while facing one of the toughest schedules in the nation. With a solid defense playing in front of her thanks to their confidence in Meagher, Florida posted the second-best scoring defense in the nation.
Defender of the Year: Becca Block, Syracuse Block helped the Orange post one of the nation’s top defenses with her all-around play. The Big East Defender of the Year led Syracuse in caused turnovers and ground balls, helping the Orange win the regular season and conference titles.
Midfielder of the Year: Katie Schwarzmann, Maryland Schwarzmann helped the Terps to an undefeated regular season, leading the team in caused turnovers and ground balls while ranking second in scoring and draw controls.
Attacker of the Year:Alex Aust, Maryland Aust exploded for the Terrapins this season, notching over 100 points while facing one of the nation’s toughest schedules. An All-ACC team member, she ranks second in the nation in points per game.
Rookie of the Year: Taylor Cummings, Maryland Cummings made an incredible impact in her first collegiate season, leading the Terps in draw controls while ranking fourth in scoring. Maryland, who entered the NCAA tournament with an undefeated record, had Cummings rank in the top-20 in the nation in draw controls as the Terps ranked in the top-10 as a team. Unsung Hero of the Year: Christy Turner, Northwestern Turner played a key role for the Wildcats in 2013, helping them post one of the top defenses in the nation despite playing the nation’s second-toughest schedule.
Coach of the Year: Joe Spallina, Stony Brook Spallina mentored the Seawolves to their first conference title in school history and their first ranking in the top-10 in 2013. Stony Brook led the nation in scoring defense and was the only team to allow less than six goals a game on average.

Goalie of the Year: Ashton Wheatley, Salisbury
Wheatley backstopped the Sea Gulls to an undefeated season, helping Salisbury post one of the top scoring defenses in the nation. Individually she ranks second nationally in goals-against average and in the top-10 in save percentage.
Defender of the Year: Mallory Hinman, Trinity
Hinman anchored one of the toughest defensive units in the nation as the Bantams allow less than five goals a game despite facing one of the toughest schedules in the nation. A senior who is active in all facets of the defense, Hinman ranks among the team leaders in caused turnovers and ground balls.
Midfielder of the Year: Megan Leonhard, Trinity
The Bantams’ captain, Leonard leads Trinity in goals, draw controls, and caused turnovers. She is active at both ends of the field and has helped Trinity to an undefeated regular season that they capped off with a NESCAC tournament title.
Attacker of the Year: Katie Bollhorst, Salisbury
The CAC Player of the Year, Bollhorst was the leader of the Sea Gull attack that ranks in the top-10 nationally while playing a top-20 schedule. The senior led Salisbury in assists and points while leading the conference in points and ranking in the top-10 nationally in assists per game.
Rookie of the Year: Erica Geremia, Cortland
Geremia burst onto the scene as a rookie, playing a key role in the Red Dragons’ offense. She leads Cortland in scoring and ranks among the national leaders in points, cracking the 100-point barrier.
Unsung Hero of the Year: Bridget Kenny, Gettysburg
Kenny was crucial to the success of the Bullets in 2013, ranking second on the team in draw controls and fourth in scoring.
Coach of the Year: Meredith Buzzi, Kenyon
Buzzi mentored the Ladies to the NCAA tournament and a 14-2 record entering NCAA play. Kenyon doubled its win total from last year and won the NCAC championship this season while ranking in the top-25 nationally in scoring margin.

Goalie of the Year: Dominique Mosca, LIU Post
Mosca continued her domination in the cage this season as she is the only keeper ranked in the top-four nationally in both save percentage and goals-against average while leading the Pioneers to an undefeated season and the top seed in the NCAA tournament.
Defender of the Year: Katherine Atkins, Pfeiffer
Atkins led the Falcons to the NCAA tournament, while Pfeiffer leads the nation in scoring defense. The junior leads the Falcons in draw controls while ranking tenth nationally; she is also second on the team in both ground balls and caused turnovers, ranking in the top-25 in the nation.
Midfielder of the Year: Katie Rotan, LIU Post
Rotan has been an explosive player for the Pioneers, leading the team in ground balls while ranking second in caused turnovers, third in draw controls, and fifth in scoring. LIU Post enters the post-season with an undefeated record and the top seed in the NCAA tournament.
Attacker of the Year: Jackie Sileo, LIU Post
The nation’s leading playmaker, Sileo led the Pioneers to an undefeated season and the No. 1 seed in the NCAA tournament. She notched a national-leading 109 assists on the season thus far and as a junior already holds the career record in both points and assists in Division II history.
Rookie of the Year: Rachel O’Brien, Adelphi
O'Brien, the NE-10 Rookie of the Year, has helped Adelphi return to the NCAA tournament and a runner-up finish in the conference. She is ranked among the top-nine in the conference in goals, assists and points and earned first-team All-NE-10 honors as a rookie.
Unsung Hero of the Year: Kali Maxwell, LIU Post
Maxwell has jumpstarted the Pioneers’ offense this season, leading LIU Post in draw controls while ranking in the top-five on the team in both ground balls and caused turnovers.
Coach of the Year: Dawn Easley, Pfeiffer
Easley mentored the Falcons to the NCAA tournament, posting a 14-2 record in 2013 after going 9-8 in 2012. Pfeiffer leads the nation in scoring defense and sits third nationally in scoring margin, averaging more than 10 goals a game per contest more than their opponent.

backstopped the Gators straight into the final weekend following a
phenomenal regular season that saw her lead the nation in both save
percentage and goals-against average. Meagher time and time again made
point-blank saves, firing up her defense on a regular basis.
Defender of the Year - Taylor Thornton, Northwestern
Thornton anchored a defense that posted the nation's second best goals-against average despite facing the nation's second-toughest schedule. A tough defender who can take the ball away from an attacker and transition it upfield to score a goal, Thornton did whatever the Wildcats needed, whenever it was needed. She led NU in ground balls while ranking second in draw controls and third in caused turnovers; she also ranked fourth on the team in goals.
Midfielder of
the Year - Katie Schwarzmann,
Maryland
Schwarzmann
powered the Maryland side at both ends of the field, leading the Terps
in goals and draw controls while ranking second in points, caused
turnovers, and ground balls. Her speed factored into every matchup, and
her ability to handle the ball created many problems for the defense.
Attacker of
the Year - Michelle Tumolo,
Syracuse
Tumolo
was a dynamo for the Orange all season long. She was as adept at
creating her own shot as she was setting up her teammates. Her touch
around the goal circle generated many highlight-reel goals, and it
freed up her teammates, who she was able to feed with dexterity.
Rookie of
the Year - Tatum Coffey, Penn
State
Coffey
led the Nittany Lions back into the tournament, ranking first at State
in draw controls and caused turnovers while ranking second in goals.
Coffey helped Penn State return to the top-10, post significant wins
and advance to the second round of the NCAA tournament while showing
the poise of a veteran.
Unsung Hero of the
Year - Gabrielle Flibotte,
Northwestern
Flibotte
did a ton of the behind the scenes things for the Wildcats all season
long, picking up draw controls, causing turnovers and snaring ground
balls. She was a significant part of the defense that ranked second
nationally while facing the nation's second-toughest schedule.
Coach of the
Year - >Jen Larsen-Beck, Oregon
Larsen-Beck
guided the Ducks to within a goal of the NCAA tournament, losing in
overtime of the play-in game after capturing the MPSF title. Oregon,
who was 8-9 last year, won the league and finished the season at 14-5.

save percentage at 52.8% despite facing one of the toughest schedules
in the nation. She added the top GAA in the country at just over 7
goals a game and ranked second on the team in ground balls.

Rollins
Bianculli
helped the Tars to the top seed in the South Region and a No. 4 ranking
in scoring defense while ranking in the top-12 nationally in caused
turnovers and ground balls.
Midfielder of
the Year - Brittany Brigandi, Le
Moyne
Brigandi
had the Dolphins at the top of the league all season long, leading Le
Moyne in points and goals while ranking second in draw controls and
ground balls. The Dolphins faced a top-ten schedule and still led the
nation in scoring defense. The Northeast-10 Player of the Year averaged
more than four points a game on a balanced squad that had four 50-point
scorers on the season.
Attacker of
the Year - Jackie Sileo, C. W.
Post
Sileo
led the nation in scoring, averaging more than seven points a game, and
led her Pioneers to the NCAA title with a record-setting performance in
the tournament. She was as adept at scoring as she was at setting up
her teammates, showing her versatility in the final weekend with a
flurry of goals in the title game, a day after she demonstrated her
ability to lead the team by setting up her teammates.
Rookie of
the Year - Samantha McCarrick,
Limestone
McCarrick
was an excellent addition for the Saints in 2012, ranking second on the
team in scoring while ranking fourth in draw controls. The Conference
Carolinas Rookie of the Year, McCarrick added phenomenal depth for
Limestone throughout the season and helped them advance to the NCAA
tournament.
Unsung Hero of the
Year - Katie Rotan, C. W. Post
Rotan
played a key role for the Pioneers throughout the season, adding depth
in the attack and gaining key possessions for them off the draw. She
could score when C. W. Post needed a goal, and she ranked second on the
team in ground balls as well as draw controls.
Coach of the
Year - Dennis Short, Rollins
Short
was able to lead the Tars into the NCAA tournament for the first time
in school history, earning the No. 1 seed in the south along the way.
Rollins defeated five ranked teams on the season and ranked second in
the nation in scoring margin nationally.

the Year - Ashton Wheatley, Salisbury
Wheatley backstopped the Sea Gulls to the title game,
posting a 5.75 GAA along the way. She was only goalie who allowed less
than six goals a game, despite the Sea Gulls' schedule that included 16
ranked teams. Wheatley allowed more than nine goals in a game only
twice all season.
Defender of
the Year - Meredith LaRose, Amherst
LaRose anchored the Amherst backfield throughout the
season, leading the Jeffs in both caused turnovers and ground balls.
Amherst as a team ranked third in the nation in scoring defense despite
facing the nation's fourth-toughest schedule. The Jeffs had only one
team reach double digits in scoring all season long and were the only
team to defeat Trinity in 2012.
Midfielder of
the Year - Liz Bruno, Trinity
Bruno was the centerpiece of the Bantams' run to the
national title, helping Trinity to a 21-1 record while facing the
nation's second toughest schedule. Bruno led the Bantams in both draw
controls and caused turnovers as well as assists, while ranking second
in points with 57. The NESCAC Player of the Year, Bruno was crucial at
both ends of the field and was one of the Bantam's top defenders.
Attacker of
the Year - Katie Bollhorst, Salisbury
Bollhorst ranked among the nation's top scorers all
season, but her scoring touch was particularly impressive when facing
some of the nation's top teams. Bollhorst was particularly adept at
setting up her teammates, but could score when the Sea Gulls needed her
to put the ball in the cage.
Rookie of
the Year - Katie Ritter, Middlebury
Ritter had an immediate impact on the Panthers this
season, ranking in the top-four on the team in points, goals, assists,
ground balls and draw controls. With Ritter in the midfield, the
Panthers returned to the NCAA semifinals and the NESCAC final.
Unsung Hero of the
Year - Hannah Deoul, Middlebury
Deoul led the Panthers in ground balls in 2012,
helping the Panthers return to the NESCAC final and to the NCAA
semifinals. Deoul also ranked fourth on the team in caused turnovers
and draw controls as Middlebury faced one of the toughest schedules in
the nation.
Coach of the
Year - Alison Pollock, Oneonta
Pollock helped turn the Red Dragons around from a
3-13 record in 2011 to a 12-4 record in 2012. The 12 wins included two
over ranked teams, and Oneonta did not lose a game out-of-conference.
